Dragons' Den

In April 2008, Andy Harsley was invited to demonstrate the rapstrap to five of the UK's leading entrepreneurs on the BBC TV show "Dragons' Den". The panel were impressed, and the venture received £150,000 backing from James Caan and Duncan Bannatyne, two of the UK's leading entrepreneurs.

The funding allowed rapstrap to be put into mass-production by Maxell (part of the Japanese Hitachi group.), and a multi-million pound global distribution deal was arranged with Schneider Electric. Rapstrap quickly became known as one of the most successful ventures ever to appear on the show.

The company has since become increasingly busy, with interest in the rapstrap coming from across the business spectrum. This has spurred us to develop other versions of our core technology, and we now offer a broad range of tying straps that can reduce your wastage and lower your impact on the environment.
